KGF fame Yash has officially confirmed that he will portray Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious project, Ramayana.
In a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Yash shared how his journey to this iconic role unfolded during his time in Los Angeles, where he was working on the visual effects for his upcoming movie, Toxic.

It was there that Yash crossed paths with Namit Malhotra, the CEO of the renowned VFX company Double Negative (D NEG). Their conversation naturally turned to their mutual vision of elevating Indian cinema on a global scale.
In the course of their talks, Namit Malhotra brought up Ramayana and asked Yash if he would consider stepping into the role of Raavan.

Yash, drawn by the project's larger vision, immediately agreed to act and even co-produce Ramayana, emphasizing that such a film requires talent that transcends individual fame and puts the story first.
Yash also disclosed that Ranbir Kapoor had been locked into the cast from the beginning, and the decision to bring Sai Pallavi on board was a collective one.
