Today, MLA Raghuramakrishna Raju (RRR) was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, a decision officially announced by Speaker Ayyannapatradu.
The CM took the opportunity to express his disapproval of the YCP's actions, particularly highlighting the unjust treatment Raghuramakrishna Raju faced when he was arrested on his birthday.

Naidu condemned the government for accusing Raju of treason, calling it an unjust move aimed at silencing him.
Chandrababu lauded Raju as an "untainted" individual, a "straight-talking personality" whose forthrightness had often put him at odds with the ruling party. He remarked that Raju's outspokenness was precisely what led to his troubles with the YCP, which had been targeting him for the past five years.
