The visit was part of a planned political schedule. He returned after completing the engagement.

A short video that surfaced on social media shows some YSR Congress leaders arranging a flower bouquet to wish him in advance. A little girl is seen presenting the bouquet. The video has since drawn attention online.
MP Mithun Reddy, who is an accused in the Liquor Scam, is seen accompanying Jagan in the video. Mithun Reddy is currently out on bail in the case. His presence has added to the discussion around the clip.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has shifted his base completely to Bengaluru after the election defeat. He fears surveillance by government agencies in Andhra Pradesh. He also feels unsafe in Hyderabad due to the Revanth Reddy Government being TDP friendly.
Jagan Mohan Reddy now leaves for Bengaluru every Friday and returns to AP only on Tuesday. During his stay in Bengaluru, he remains completely inaccessible to party leaders. No one is allowed access to the Yelahanka Palace during this period.
