An exquisite celebration of Northern Chinese tradition and innovation with Hutong’s legendary cuisine and signature cocktails

A culinary spectacle awaits the capital as Hutong Dubai makes its grand return to Shangri-La Eros New Delhi, bringing its globally acclaimed Northern Chinese flavours to discerning diners. From 24 to 26 October 2025, the city’s celebrated Shang Palace will host this highly anticipated three-day pop-up, promising an immersive dining experience where tradition meets contemporary flair.

Hutong — the first Northern Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong to earn a Michelin Star, with celebrated outposts across London, New York, Miami, and Dubai — is renowned for its fiery flavours, theatrical presentation, and artful balance of spice and sophistication. Its Dubai outpost, featured in the Michelin Guide for Dubai, now arrives in New Delhi to deliver a culinary showcase that embodies both authenticity and innovation.

Guests will savour Hutong’s signature dishes, including the Roasted Peking Duck with Pancakes, Red Lantern Spiced Soft-Shell Crab on a Bed of Dried Whole Chillies, Lobster with Mapo Tofu, Grilled Lamb Rack with Cumin Seeds, Sanchen Spiced King Oyster Mushroom, and Hutong Fried Rice, concluding with the Bao & Soy dessert — a sweet finale to an extraordinary meal.

Adding to the experience, celebrated mixologist Andreas Qepali will curate an exclusive cocktail menu at Grappa, the hotel’s sophisticated bar. Known for his inventive approach and refined craftsmanship, Qepali will take over Grappa for the duration of the pop-up, offering bespoke cocktails meticulously designed to complement Hutong’s layered, bold, and aromatic dishes.

“We are delighted to bring Hutong’s phenomenal Northern Chinese cuisine back to New Delhi,” says Abhishek Sadhoo, General Manager, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to offering world-class dining experiences that embody authenticity, creativity, and global excellence. We look forward to hosting our guests for a truly remarkable event that celebrates the best of both culinary worlds.”

The exclusive set menu will be available for lunch and dinner at Shang Palace. The vegetarian set menu is priced at INR 6,000 plus taxes per person, and the non-vegetarian set menu is priced at INR 7,000 plus taxes per person.

This limited-time pop-up is a rare opportunity for Delhi’s culinary enthusiasts to experience the fiery finesse and global elegance of Hutong’s cuisine — a journey through flavours that bridges continents, cultures, and craftsmanship.
