Salad Days, a Delhi-based brand in the healthy food segment, has announced a major expansion of its cloud kitchen network, targeting over 50 operational kitchens by the end of 2025. The company currently operates 36 kitchens across India and plans to add 15 new locations in the coming months, focusing on strengthening its presence in Delhi NCR and Mumbai.
At present, Salad Days runs 19 kitchens in Delhi NCR, 12 in Bengaluru, and 5 in Mumbai. The upcoming expansion will include 8–10 new kitchens in Gurugram, Delhi, and Noida ., alongside new facilities in Mumbai neighbourhoods such as .Malad West, Borivali West, BKC, Chembur, and Thane .. The new kitchens will be strategically located to improve last-mile delivery coverage in high-demand residential and business areas.
The company has also introduced upgraded kitchen infrastructure, including Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), IoT-based temperature monitoring, and a modular makeline design to enhance operational efficiency and maintain consistency in food preparation.
According to Varun Madan, Founder and CEO of Salad Days, the expansion focuses on catering to India’s growing urban population that increasingly prioritises healthy and convenient eating options. He noted that Delhi NCR and Mumbai remain key markets for the brand due to their concentration of health-conscious consumers and strong delivery infrastructure.
The company’s growth plan follows a Series A funding round earlier this year, which has enabled scaling operations and technology upgrades. Salad Days has served over one million orders in 2025 and projects this figure to rise to 4.5 million over the next two years.
The expansion is expected to create new employment opportunities across kitchen operations, culinary teams, and delivery services. As demand for accessible, nutritious food continues to rise in India’s metropolitan cities, the move positions Salad Days to further consolidate its footprint in the country’s evolving healthy dining landscape.
