Artist management company Bluprint Artists has signed Punjabi hip-hop artist and composer tricksingh to its roster, marking a new chapter for the emerging act as he continues to build momentum within India's independent music ecosystem.
Born Tirath Sandhu, the 24-year-old artist has been steadily gaining attention for a sound that blends Punjabi influences with contemporary hip-hop, alternative production, and bilingual songwriting. Positioned at the intersection of heritage and global youth culture, tricksingh's music moves between Punjabi and English while drawing from both underground and mainstream influences.
The artist has been part of a growing wave of musicians redefining the sound and visual language of urban Punjabi music. Through genre-fluid production, stylised visuals, and themes centred around identity and self-expression, tricksingh has built a distinct creative identity that has resonated with younger audiences.
Commenting on the signing, Bhavya Anand, Co-founder of Bluprint Artists, said, "We sign artists we genuinely can't stop listening to. tricksingh has been on repeat at the Bluprint HQ longer than we'd like to admit. The sound hits different, it's got culture, and it's got a vision that goes way beyond a genre. Bluprint is extremely excited to be collaborating with Tirath and paving the way ahead."
Over the past year, tricksingh has expanded his presence across live circuits and digital platforms alike. He was featured on Rolling Stone India's 'Future of Music' list, received recognition as 'Debut Artist of the Year', and completed a sold-out international tour within his first year as a recording artist.
His live performances have included appearances at festivals and platforms such as NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, Simba Uproar, Zomaland, Jio World Garden, DLF Avenue and Jio World Convention Centre. His music has also been shared by public figures including Shahid Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu and Rannvijay Singha.
Beyond his work as a recording artist, tricksingh also works as a DJ, instrumentalist and creative director, with a strong emphasis on homegrown aesthetics across his music videos and visual storytelling. His work and rise within the independent music space have been covered by publications including BBC, Rolling Stone India, Homegrown, Rock Street Journal, Radio City, Times of India and Hindustan Times.
The signing further expands Bluprint Artists' footprint within India's independent and alternative music landscape as Punjabi hip-hop and bilingual music continue to find larger audiences both domestically and internationally.
