Overview of SBI Recruitment 2026
The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a recruitment drive for 821 Concurrent Auditor roles. Interested applicants can submit their applications online at sbi.bank.in until June 11, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
This recruitment is specifically aimed at retired bank officers. To qualify, candidates must have prior experience in Credit, Audit, or Forex departments. Applicants must have retired under the regular superannuation scheme at the age of 60. Those who left service early due to voluntary retirement or resignation are not eligible. However, officers who opted for the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) after 30 years of service and reaching 58 years can apply once they turn 60.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a combination of shortlisting and interviews. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview invitation. The Selection Committee will create a shortlist based on specific parameters, and those selected will be invited for an interview. The interview will be scored out of 100 marks, and the final merit list will be determined by these scores. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be prioritized.
Salary Structure
The monthly salary for the selected Concurrent Auditors will depend on their retirement grades and will be separate from their pension. According to the bank's notification:

|---|---|
| MMGS III | ₹45,000 |
