Details of the Recruitment:

• District Police Cadre: 2,522 positions


• Armed Police Cadre: 775 positions

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Completion of Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.


• Ex-servicemen with at least a Class 10 qualification are also eligible.


• Proficiency in Punjabi is required.


• Age requirements: Minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.

Recruitment Process:

The selection process consists of three stages:

1. A written examination.


2. Physical screening and measurement tests for those who pass the written exam.


3. Document verification following the physical tests.

Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of ₹19,900 per month.
