Social media platform Instagram is testing a new paid subscription. This new update will be named Instagram Plus. This new update will focus on Instagram Stories.
It is being said that the company is preparing to add some new features to Instagram Stories. According to the information received, this new update includes tools like managing the audience of the story, tracking rewatch insights and increasing the duration of Instagram Story beyond 24 hours. After the release of the new update, users will get a new option to increase the visibility and engagement of the story. This new feature is currently being tested. Instagram Plus testing begins
According to a post shared on Threads by social media consultant Matt Navarra, Instagram Plus will be similar to Snapchat Plus. It will offer some special features to the users. This new Instagram update is currently being tested in the Philippines. For this new update, Instagram Plus, users will have to spend PHP 65, or around Rs 100, every month. A screenshot has also been shared. In this screenshot, a one-month free trial will also be available before the subscription automatically renews.

Additionally, users will be able to track how many times their Stories have been viewed. Users will also be able to search for anyone from the list of Story viewers.
