Jallad Pawan, a resident of Meerut, has been instructed to be ready to hang the culprits of the Nirbhaya incident. A letter has been sent from Lucknow to the District Jail Administration of Meerut on Thursday night. It was told that in this regard the Ministry of Home Affairs and Tihar Jail Administration gave information to senior officers of Lucknow Jail and Police.

Chaudhary Charan Singh District Prison Meerut Jail Superintendent BD Pandey says that he has received the letter from the Lucknow headquarters. It states that the executioner Pawan can be summoned as and when required if he is ordered to hang the culprits of the Nirbhaya incident in Delhi, so tell Pawan hangman to be ready.

Meerut jail administration has been asked to get in touch with Pawan hangman. On getting instructions from the government, the jail administration contacted Pawan hangman and asked him to reach the jail on Friday.

Tihar jail asks for two executioners from Uttar Pradesh

Let us tell you that the Delhi-based Tihar Jail Administration has asked Uttar Pradesh to provide two executioners. There are reports that the four convicts in the Nirbhaya rape case may be hanged soon. UP's Additional Director General (Jail) Anand Kumar told on Thursday that our department is ready to provide execution to the Tihar Jail Administration.

The Tihar Jail Administration does not have any executioner at this time. Kumar said that the Tihar Jail is aware that UP has two executioners, who can complete the execution process. The UP administration received a request in this regard from the Tihar Jail on 9 December.
