Known for its gritty storytelling and iconic characters like Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit, the Mirzapur franchise is now heading to the big screen, with the film slated to release on September 4.

After the massive success of its first two seasons-and a comparatively lukewarm response to Season 3-the makers are aiming to bring back the magic with the upcoming film. The return of fan-favourite characters, including Munna Bhaiya, has already created strong anticipation among viewers.

According to recent reports, actress Sonal Chauhan will feature in a special dance number in the film. The song is said to be inspired by the classic "Mehbooba Mehbooba" from Sholay, promising a high-energy, visually striking sequence.

The dance number has reportedly been shot against a desert backdrop in Jodhpur, where elaborate tent sets were erected. Filming took place over three nights, capturing a vibrant celebration scene set in a rustic village bar. The sequence will feature key characters, including Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu), along with Jitendra Kumar, Abhishek Banerjee, and Ravi Kishan, all joining in the festivities.

Producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are believed to have included the song to enhance the film's entertainment quotient. Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, the sequence is expected to be a major highlight, with reports suggesting that even Pankaj Tripathi thoroughly enjoyed shooting for it.

The film's music has been composed by Khandal and Junaid Kumar, further raising expectations for a memorable soundtrack.
