Weather Forecast: According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will be visible between March 18 and 20. This impact is expected to bring rain, strong winds, and hailstorms to the western Himalayan region (including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand) and the surrounding plains.

Weather Forecast: The Meteorological Department issued a press release stating that isolated heavy rainfall is likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on March 17. Isolated heavy rain or snowfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh on March 19. Isolated heavy rain or snowfall is also possible in Uttarakhand on March 20.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected over Northeast India over the next seven days. Strong winds with speeds of 30-50 kmph are also expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from March 17-18.
Chances of rain in West Bengal and Sikkim
Light to moderate rain is expected at many places in West Bengal and Sikkim between March 17 and 21. Thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds with speeds of up to 30-50 km per hour are possible in these states.

1. Light to moderate rain and gusty winds with speeds of 30-50 kmph are likely at isolated places in Madhya Pradesh from March 18 to 20. Similar weather conditions are expected in Odisha and Chhattisgarh from March 17 to 20.
2. Light to moderate rain is expected in Bihar between March 17 and 20 and 22. Lightning and strong winds are also possible in some areas.
3. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka are likely to experience scattered light to moderate rainfall accompanied by strong winds from March 17 to 20. Similar weather conditions are expected in Kerala and Mahe from March 17 to 18.
4. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during March 17 to 19.
5. Light to moderate rain may occur in Central Maharashtra during March 16 to 19.
6. Light to moderate rain with thundershowers may occur in Gujarat on March 18 and 19, while in Goa also on March 18 and 19.
7. Delhi will experience generally cloudy skies on March 17. The maximum temperature is expected to hover between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius.
8. A new, strong western disturbance is expected to become active in Rajasthan from March 18th to 21st. The disturbance's greatest impact is expected on March 19th and 20th. During this period, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds (40-50 kmph) is expected in parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota divisions.
Chances of rain in Jharkhand
According to the Meteorological Center, Ranchi, on March 17th, all districts of Jharkhand are likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning, along with strong winds of up to 40 to 50 km per hour. On March 18th, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in 18 districts, including Ranchi. The weather will be normal on this day in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Latehar, Hazaribagh, and Koderma. On March 19th, all districts are again likely to experience thunderstorms and strong winds.
