Mysuru: An FIR has been registered at Kuvempunagar police station against a private school following a complaint filed by a private management services firm, alleging fraud, misappropriation of funds, and criminal conspiracy involving three individuals associated with the institution.

According to police sources, the complaint states that the management services firm had entered into a master services agreement with the school in 2022, which remains valid and in force. The firm claims it played a key role in building and scaling the institution during this period.

The complainant has alleged that after benefiting from the services provided, certain members of the school management misappropriated institutional funds. This, the firm claims, resulted in substantial financial losses to them while providing wrongful gains to the accused individuals.

The complaint further states that the alleged actions were carried out as part of a deliberate conspiracy, prompting the firm to seek legal recourse.

The management services firm has urged the police to conduct a detailed investigation into the matter. It has also requested authorities to freeze the bank accounts of the accused to prevent any further diversion of funds.

Additionally, the complainant has called for efforts to trace and recover the allegedly misappropriated amount and to initiate appropriate legal action against those responsible.

Based on the complaint, Kuvempunagar police have registered a case under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 324(4), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Officials indicated that further investigation is underway to ascertain the facts and gather evidence.

The case highlights concerns over financial transparency and governance in private educational institutions. Authorities are expected to examine the allegations in detail as part of the ongoing investigation, with further action likely based on the findings.
