Ajman (UAE): Gulf Medical University (GMU) has achieved a significant global milestone, with its College of Pharmacy being ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for Pharmacy and Pharmacology, placing it in the 351-400 band worldwide.
This recognition highlights the university's growing global presence and academic excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.
The achievement places GMU among a select group of institutions delivering high-quality pharmacy education globally. Notably, it is among only five institutions out of ten UAE universities offering undergraduate pharmacy programmes to receive this distinction.
The university also stands among just 32 Arab institutions recognised globally in the Pharmacy and Pharmacology subject category.
The QS ranking reflects GMU's strong focus on academic rigour, impactful research, and industry relevance. The university's integrated ecosystem of education, healthcare, and research has contributed significantly to this recognition.

He added that the college will continue to advance pharmacy education, promote innovation, and prepare graduates to contribute effectively to global healthcare systems.

Admissions are currently open at the university, which offers 45 accredited programmes across disciplines such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, nursing, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and healthcare management.
