In a move to enhance commuter convenience, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has floated a tender worth ₹58.99 crore for the procurement and installation of a travelator to connect the Yellow and Blue lines of the Namma Metro.

The proposed travelator aims to facilitate smoother and quicker passenger movement between the two key metro corridors. With increasing ridership across Bengaluru's expanding metro network, efficient interchange systems have become essential.

The initiative is expected to significantly reduce walking time for commuters transferring between lines, particularly during peak hours.
