'He's only there for style. As usual, he did nothing with the bat and spoke at the post-match presentation. He's just there for style and does nothing else,' Srikkanth remarked during a video on his YouTube channel.

'Is there some rule that a left-arm spinner can't bowl to a left-hander? It's absurd,' he said, expressing disbelief at the tactical call.

While Rajasthan Royals have largely performed well this season, Srikkanth warned that their bowling unit, particularly the Indian contingent, remains a concern.

He pointed out that the team's bowlers conceded heavily in the match against SRH, which ultimately led to their defeat. According to him, Parag's captaincy decisions — including the non-utilisation of Jadeja — played a significant role in the outcome.

'The 11 overs between Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravi Bishnoi went for 142 runs. That's where the match was over,' Srikkanth said.

He added that the bowlers struggled to contain the opposition, with SRH batters attacking relentlessly and exposing weaknesses in RR's strategy.

Srikkanth cautioned that if Rajasthan Royals fail to address their bowling issues and tactical shortcomings, they could face heavy defeats in the coming matches despite their promising start.

'RR also has to start thinking about their bowling combination. If they bowl like this, they'll receive a thrashing,' he warned.
