We found several news reports stating that an Indian man named RajJasuja was beaten in Thailand after reportedly refusing to pay for services.

According to a report by The Times of India, dated January 4, the incident occurred on December 27 near the beachside entrance of Walking Street in Phuket city.

The victim was identified as 52-year-old Indian national Raj Jasuja, who had visible injuries on his face and the back of his head when rescue workers found him at the scene. He was given first aid before being taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The Telegraph, from its Instagram account, shared an extended version of the viral clip, on January 5, which shows transgender women pulling the man out of a car, dragging him onto the street and assaulting him. The caption read that the police said they would ask the victim to file a complaint after his recovery.

Thailand-based news outlet Thaiger published a detailed report on the incident on December 29, 2025, including several images of the injured Jasuja. The report stated that the altercation broke out over payment for services after the victim allegedly failed to pay the full amount.

A Thai witness told rescue workers that he saw the Indian man arguing with a transgender woman near the entrance to Walking Street before the confrontation escalated into a physical altercation.
