How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor's family has grown. The 51-year-old actor-filmmaker, who got married in January 2024, shared that he and his wife, Jordana Jacobs, welcomed a child "a few months ago".
Except for revealing the birth of their first baby boy, the couple did not divulge many details on the exact date of birth.
Taking to his Instagram account, Josh shared a post that opened with a sweet picture of him holding his newborn baby boy in his arms, adoring him. In the next image, the baby, whose name the couple did not reveal, was seen resting on a guitar while the actor tuned it. The last photo in the carousel showed Jordana on a hospital bed, cradling her boy in her arms while looking at him affectionately.

In the caption, the Hunters star shared details about their baby boy and sent love to fellow parents. "So my wife and I had a baby a few months ago (!!)" he began his note, adding, "Here's what we know so far: His smile lights up the room. He's super observant and thoughtful. He gets hypnotised when I play him songs on the guitar."
Josh continued, "He thinks the word 'baba ghanoush' is hysterical. He's a total delight, and Jordana and I are thrilled he's here." At the end, he thanked his fans for their best wishes and talked about how wild and exhausting parenthood has been. He said, "Thanks for all the kind words from @howwemadeyourmother listeners (I dropped the news a few episodes back on the podcast.) Sending love to all my fellow parents of newborns out there. What a wild, beautiful, exhausting, heart-opening initiation. So grateful."

His post immediately received congratulatory messages from his friends in the industry. The announcement came almost a month after Josh and Jordana celebrated their second wedding anniversary on January 6. On Instagram, the actor posted a few pictures with his wife, showing them taking a stroll amid snowfall. The photos were taken on their wedding day back in 2024. In the caption, he wrote, "Two years ago today."
The couple first met in February 2022 at a meditation retreat, and got married on January 6, 2024, at the Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York.
