Rakshasa will be streaming on Zee 5 from February 20. The official update was shared on Instagram by makers. The caption on the post read, "North Karnataka's first web series."
Rakshasa tells the story of Sub-Inspector Hanmappa who is a determined officer pulled into the investigation of a string of alleged crocodile attacks near the Yellamma Temple in Savadatti. As Hanmappa digs deeper, the investigation turns into a tense psychological maze, where crime, fear, and faith collide.

He went on to explain that Hanmappa is a man caught between duty and belief, and that the trailer offers just a glimpse of this inner conflict without giving too much away.
