After nearly a month of a strong box office run, Dhurandhar has finally slowed down a bit. On its fourth Monday in theatres, the Ranveer Singh film earned less than Rs 15 crore in India for the first time.
Even so, the Aditya Dhar directorial has already made box office history.
The film earned over Rs 60 crore in India during its fourth weekend. It then added more than Rs 10 crore on Monday, taking its total Indian collection to about Rs 701.25 crore net (Rs 841.6 crore gross) after 25 days. With this, Dhurandhar has become the first Hindi film to cross Rs 700 crore net in India. Earlier, only South Indian blockbusters like Baahubali 2, RRR, KGF Chapter 2, and Pushpa 2 had reached this mark.

Overseas, the film got a boost from the Christmas holidays and has now earned more than $26.5 million. Although its daily earnings abroad have dropped below $1 million, the overall collection remains strong.
By Day 25, Dhurandhar has collected Rs 1,081 crore worldwide and is now close to the Rs 1,100 crore mark.
Over the weekend, Dhurandhar overtook Kalki 2898 AD and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan to become the seventh highest grossing Indian film of all time. The next target is Jawan, which ended its 2023 run at Rs 1,160 crore worldwide. Notably, Dhurandhar has already surpassed Jawan's India box office collections, and trade analysts expect it to challenge the Shah Rukh Khan film's global total by Friday or Saturday.
The film's performance during its fifth weekend will be crucial in determining whether it can further climb the rankings and surpass KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 1,215 crore) and RRR (Rs 1,230 crore).

Dhurandhar is written, directed, and co produced by Aditya Dhar and is backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film stars Ranveer Singh along with Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
The story centres on Hamza Ali Mazari, who is later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover agent sent to Lyari in Pakistan to break into a Baloch gang led by Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna. After the film's big success, the makers have already announced a sequel, which is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2026.
