Netflix's series Stranger Things will come to an end after nine years. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch the finale worldwide and want to know what will happen to Eleven and Vecna.
Shawn Levy, who directed episodes six and seven, gave his review of Stranger Things Season 5 episode 8.
While speaking to People, Shawn Levy called the finale a "masterpiece". He revealed that the audience will get to know more about Vecna's past.
"I just want to assure all of the people around the world who have walked the long road with us for nearly a decade, this finale is what you've been waiting for. It is both informationally satisfying and, most importantly, profoundly emotionally satisfying," he added.
The first volume starts with everyone planning to fight against Vecna to end things. Meanwhile, Will finds out he is telepathically connected to Vecna and other Demogorgons. Mike and Nancy's parents, Karen and Ted, get injured, and their youngest daughter, Holly, is kidnapped.
Max is also found to be alive, while Holly and the other children are kept. When Mike, Lucas and Robin are nearly attacked with no chance of escape, Will gains powers and kills Demogorgons. He wipes the blood off his nose, signifying that he has gained powers like Eleven.
Max and Holly try to escape. Max returns to the real world, but Holly remains stuck in the Upside Down. Dustin figures out that the Abyss is a separate dimension, and Max reveals Henry's plan to merge it with their world. They make a final plan to go inside Upside Down and kill Vecna.
The last episode will feature Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, Linda Hamilton, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Sherman Augustus, Alex Breaux, Jake Connelly, Nell Fisher, Amybeth McNulty, Randy Havens, and Linnea Berthelsen appear in recurring roles.
