Central Delhi Kings continued their winning run in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 with a thrilling four-wicket victory over Outer Delhi Warriors on Sunday.
The match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium was reduced to 10 overs per side because of rain, but fans still witnessed plenty of big hits and exciting moments. Chasing a tough target of 131, the Kings reached 133/6 in 9.5 overs to register their second consecutive win of the season. Captain Yash Dhull gave the team a flying start, while Vansh Bedi played a match-winning unbeaten knock to help Central Delhi Kings stay unbeaten in the tournament.
Outer Delhi Warriors post 130 in 10 overs
After being asked to bat first, Outer Delhi Warriors made full use of the short format and scored 130/5 in their 10 overs.
Yajas Sharma led the attack with a quick 39 off just 16 balls. Mohit Panwar also batted brilliantly, scoring 37 from 18 deliveries. Akshay Saini added 31 off only 15 balls to help the Warriors post a strong total.
Keshav Dabas shines with the ball
Keshav Dabas was the best bowler for Central Delhi Kings. He finished with figures of 2/14 and kept the Warriors from scoring even more runs.
Arun Pundir, Tejas Baroka and Gavnish Khurana also took one wicket each.
Yash Dhull gives Kings a flying start
Chasing 131 in just 10 overs was never going to be easy, but captain Yash Dhull made the job easier with an attacking innings.
Dhull smashed 35 runs from only 16 balls, hitting two fours and three sixes. Jonty Sidhu also played an important role, scoring 25 off 12 balls to keep the required run rate under control.
Vansh Bedi finishes the match in style
The star of the match was Vansh Bedi, who remained unbeaten on 47 off just 16 balls.
The young batter hit three fours and five sixes and scored at a strike rate of nearly 294. Even though Central Delhi Kings lost a few wickets in the middle overs, Bedi stayed calm and guided his team to victory with one ball to spare.
Warriors' bowlers fight hard
Pratham Saluja and Aman Chaudhary picked up two wickets each for Outer Delhi Warriors.
However, they could not stop the strong batting lineup of Central Delhi Kings, who completed the chase in 9.5 overs to remain unbeaten after two matches in DPL 2026.
The victory helped Central Delhi Kings move to the top of the points table, while Outer Delhi Warriors were left searching for a better result in their next game.
