Dhurandhar 2 has become one of the most awaited releases of 2026 after the massive success of its first part. The sequel will focus on the next step of Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh, who is Lyari and has killed Rehman Dakait.
Its teaser has already created excitement among the audience as Ranveer will go against a new villain.
Arjun Rampal, who played the role of Major Iqbal, will be the main antagonist in Dhurandhar 2. He had an important but small role in the first part. Akshaye Khanna's character, Rehman Dakait, was killed in the end and it is not clear if fans will get to see him in the sequel.
Dhurandhar 2 teaser update:
As per reports, the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 will release on January 31, 2026. the teaser has reportedly received 'A' certificate due to its blood, gore and violence, which was already present in the first part.
Dhurandhar 2 will release in theatres on March 19, 2026. Apart from Hindi, it will also be available in the dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The statement by the makers reads, "Despite releasing only in Hindi, Dhurandhar witnessed exceptional traction across South India through word-of-mouth, social media virality and repeat viewing. South distributors and exhibitors consistently flagged strong audience demand for dubbed versions, with fans actively calling for the film to be made available in regional languages. Taking cognisance of this organic demand not just in South India but South Indian audiences globally, the makers have decided to expand the franchise's footprint with Dhurandhar 2, ensuring audiences across regions can experience the film in their local language from day one."
The movie will clash with Yash's Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups in theatres worldwide.
