Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam came was asked tough questions after his team lost the match against Hyderabad Kingsmen despite him being the top scorer for his team.
Azam could not guide his team towards victory and post-match he came under tight scrutiny.

After the match, there were questions raised about his inability to close games despite getting solid starts. In the press interaction, one of the journalist pointed out his recurring issue and even compared him to Virat Kohli where he highlight Kohli's ability to finish matches while Babar never does this. Babar, however, appeared displeased with the comparison and the line of questioning.
Babar Azam tired of comparison with Virat Kohli
Reporter questioned Babar: "Virat Kohli comes with the same shot of game as you but he finishes the match which you lack. People compare him with you what are your views on the comparison?"
Babar Azam replied saying: "Finish these things. Keep these things to yourself. End the comparison and move on. It's your misconception that I have not finished matches."
Babar has been regarded as one of the top batters in Pakistan but he has frequently faced criticism for his poor performances and lack of consistency. There have been concerns about his strike rate and ineffectiveness in chasing targets.
