Una: Two people were burnt alive after their car plunged into a 200-foot-deep gorge on the Bharwain-Hoshiarpur Road in Una district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday afternoon.
The tragic incident was captured on CCTV and has raised fresh concerns over road safety on the accident-prone stretch.
The victims were reportedly returning from the Chintpurni Temple and were travelling towards Ludhiana in Punjab at the time of the accident.

According to reports, the car was approaching a sharp turn on the Bharwain-Hoshiarpur Road when the accident took place.
CCTV footage shows that instead of taking the turn, the vehicle continued moving straight and fell into the deep gorge.
Officials said flames were visible near the rear side of the car just before it went off the road, indicating a possible mechanical issue.
Police sources said a loud blast-like sound was also heard moments before the crash, and a tyre burst is suspected to be one of the possible causes.
Vehicle completely burnt, two bodies recovered
Police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident.
By the time rescue teams reached the location, the vehicle had been completely burnt.
Officials recovered one body from outside the vehicle and another from inside the charred car.
The vehicle has been identified as a Maruti Swift Dzire with registration number PB-10-K-7531, registered in Ludhiana.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been officially confirmed.
Investigation continues
The police have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
