The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the detailed, subject-wise datesheet for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 very soon.
Students who have applied for undergraduate courses in central universities and other colleges can check the full schedule on the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in.
CUET UG 2026 exam dates and mode
According to the current plan by the NTA, the CUET UG 2026 exams will be held between May 11 and May 31, 2026.
It is important for students to note that the exam will be conducted only in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. This means students will take the exam on a computer at designated centers, rather than using pen and paper.
Multiple shifts and exam centers
The NTA will hold the test in multiple shifts (morning, afternoon, and evening). These exams will take place at hundreds of centers across India and in several cities abroad.
Since the application and correction windows are now closed, the NTA is currently busy allotting roll numbers and choosing the best exam centers for all candidates.
CUET UG 2026 exam city slip
Once the datesheet is released, the NTA will provide two very important documents:
Exam City Intimation Slip: This will be released first to tell you which city your exam center is in. This helps students plan their travel.
Admit Card: The actual admit card, which contains your specific center address and shift timing, will be released three to four days before the exam starts.
