Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to be administered covid-19 vaccine shot at LNJP hospital today
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be administered the covid-19 vaccine shot at the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Narayan Hospital on Thursday.
According to a statement released by the Chief Minister's Office, he will be reaching the location and get the vaccine shot at 9:30 am on Thursday while adding that he will be the first member of Delhi cabinet to receive the vaccine shot.
As per the Delhi government's health officials, as many as 308 centres have been set up in 192 hospitals to administer covid-19 vaccine to those eligible.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain had earlier announced that anyone who fits the bill can get vaccinated for free at government hospitals after registering on Co-WIN portal. However, those who want to get vaccinated at private hospitals will have to pay Rs 250 per dose.
Out of 192 hospitals authorised to facilitate covid-19 vaccination programme in Delhi, 136 are private hospitals and 56 are government-run hospitals.
