Social media platforms have been buzzing with details, theories, debates and even 'what-if' scenarios about Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun's Jaskirat Singh Rangi aka Hamza Ali Mazari, and Yalina Jamali.

In Dhurandhar, we have seen how Ranveer's Jaskirat, who's undercover agent in Pakistan, pretends to be Hamza and falls in love with the underage daughter of a senior Pakistani Awami Party (PAP) politician and Member of the National Assembly, Jameel Jamali, played by Rakesh Bedi. Eventually, he marries her, and the two then seem to build a life together.

In Dhurandhar 2, Jaskirat and Yalina have a son. However, their happiness turn temporary when Yalina finds the truth about Hamza's real-identity and confronts him, asking why he ruined her life. He tries to explain why it's important to counter terrorism, explaining challenges for his country. Meanwhile, Jameel, in the end has been shown as an undercover Indian agent himself, advising Jaskirat to leave everything behind and move on.

Fans expressed on Reddit that how things in the end could have transformed differently. One user shared a screengrab from the film showing Jaskirat burning a picture of his wife as he tries to build a new identity, writing, "Why didn't Yalina just come to India with Jaskirat? Jaskirat has to just 'move on' and forget Yalina is absolute trauma."

Debating alternate endings, one Redditor commented, "Well she shouldn't come to India. But could very easily move to any other country with Hamza, like their initial plan to move to Vancouver, Canada. Dhar wanted people to cry and give it a sad ending. That's why this sacrifice was shown, although unnecessary. Hamza and Jaskirat both were dead. He was given new identity with name 'Shaurya Bhardwaj' on his passport. So his future life was already being eased by IB."

Meanwhile, some redditors offered hopeful and a positive future for both. One wrote, "I get this, but Hamza is dead. How hard would it be to say that Yalina has gone to live in Saudi or Germany or wherever with our distant relative/family friend because being in Pakistan where they had so many memories too painful for her and her son right now." Another gave a realistic alternative, adding, "It is traumatic, yes. But also, assuming Yalina would just pack her bags and come to India with Jassi is cute but not practical. We all wanted that happy ending but that's not how it works, unfortunately."
