In Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Ranveer Singh's character has a charismatic entry sequence on an Arabic rai song titled Didi. The 1992 song was written and performed by Algerian singer Khaled. Dressed like Rehman Dakait in an all-black outfit, Ranveer enters the camp with high-energy performance.

The song Didi has been used in multiple other Indian films. Khaled's original music video appeared in the Malayalam film, Highway, featuring Silk Smitha, in 1995. It is reportedly sampled in Brahma (1994) by Bappi Lahiri and Kavita Krishnamurthy's Suno Suno Meri Rani Ji. More recently, Akshay Kumar's Airlift (2016) included the song as Dil Cheez Tujhe De Di by Arijit Singh and Ankit Tiwari.
