A recent social media post by a Pakistani clothing brand has created a lot of buzz online after images of Alia Bhatt were shared on its official Instagram page, showing her as the face of a silk suit collection.
It appears that many of these images were taken from Alia Bhatt's public appearances and older photos, including one look from the L'Oréal Paris Fashion Week runway, and then edited to fit the brand's campaign.
The brand, called "Wajayesha Official," posted several edited pictures of Alia Bhatt in different outfits. In these images, she is seen wearing a variety of colors like black, burgundy, green, and soft pastel shades. The caption of the post made it seem like the actress had liked or endorsed their "pure sheesha silk collection" and encouraged people to buy the outfits.
Alongside the pictures, the caption read, "Even Alia Bhatt likes our pure sheesha silk collection!! Colour can be customised, book your order now."

Fans react
Soon after the post went live, many pointed out that the pictures looked edited or possibly made using AI, and did not seem like part of any real or official photoshoot.
A social media user said, "She will sue you!" Soon, the brand responded, "No, she will not." Another person commented, "Alia Bhatt ko pata hai brand shoot ke bare (Does Alia even know about this)?" The brand mentioned, "Viral karein please ki unku bhi pata chal jaye (Please make this post viral, so Alia also finds out)."
A person also added, "This is AI. I will send this to her." Again, the brand, seemingly unfazed by the reactions, replied, "But we have the original product." When a fan said, "This is fake AI cheap marketing," the brand stated, "Yes, you are right, but we have an original one."
