Success is not always defined by where you begin but by your determination to keep moving forward. Haryana entrepreneur Manoj Dhanda knows this better than most.
He started with almost nothing, worked low-paying jobs and faced one setback after another. Instead of giving up, he took a small risk that changed the course of his life. Today, his inspiring journey has become a testament to how persistence, hard work and the willingness to learn can turn even the toughest circumstances into extraordinary success.
Who is Manoj Dhanda?
According reports, Manoj Dhanda grew up in a small village in Haryana in a mud house where financial hardships shaped his early years. His family could barely make ends meet, and he often owned only one or two sets of clothes. He studied up to Class 10 but failed his board examination. Despite academic setbacks, he remained curious about how electronic devices worked, a fascination that would later change the course of his life.

What is his educational qualification?
Manoj held several small jobs that paid him just Rs 2,500 a month. When he saw a computer for the first time, he discovered his true passion. His willingness to learn despite limited resources laid the foundation for his future entrepreneurial success.
How did he start his business?
Determined to build something of his own, Manoj borrowed Rs 5,000 and purchased a second-hand computer to begin working on his business idea. In the initial stages, he faced several technical challenges particularly while hosting websites but he continued improving his skills through trial and error. The experience helped him gain valuable expertise in cloud hosting and infrastructure services.
Which company he owns?
In 2018, Manoj launched his cloud platform under the name MicroHost. Four years later, the company was rebranded as Utho. The platform reportedly received more than 700 registrations within just two hours of its launch, and its entire available infrastructure was reportedly sold out almost immediately. Today, Utho is reported to be valued at around Rs 700 crore. His remarkable journey has made Manoj Dhanda's story one of India's most inspiring entrepreneurial success stories.
