The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the SSLC Result 2026 toppers list, with Wangaal Lama securing the first position in the Class 10 board examinations.
The board released the toppers' names along with the result announcement, highlighting outstanding performances by students across the state.

Here are the top three rank holders in the Meghalaya SSLC 2026 examination:
- Rank 1: Wangaal Lama - 585 marks
- Rank 2: Vishal Kumar - 576 marks
- Rank 3: Prajukta Roy - 575 marks
- Rank 3: Prinita Das - 575 marks
Wangaal Lama topped the Meghalaya Board SSLC examination with an impressive 585 marks, while Vishal Kumar secured the second position with 576 marks. Prajukta Roy and Prinita Das jointly secured the third rank with 575 marks each.
Strong Performance in Meghalaya SSLC 2026
The toppers list reflects strong academic performance in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2026, which saw over 48,000 students appearing for the board exams this year.
Earlier, MBOSE announced an overall pass percentage of 86.84 per cent, marking a significant achievement for students across Shillong and Tura regions.

The Meghalaya Board declared the Class 10 results in online mode at 11 am, allowing students to check their scorecards on official websites including mbose.in, mboseresults.in, and megresults.nic.in.
Students can download their scorecards using their roll numbers and are advised to keep a printed copy for future admission and documentation purposes.
