AAP MP Raghav Chadha is increasingly being admired as a young leader with national ambitions. While he has not publicly discussed any such goal, his leadership style and political choices suggest a future planning that goes beyond conventional politics.
However, in a surprising move, the AAP removed him as a deputy leader on Thursday, sending a proposal to the Rajya Sabha secretariat of replacing him with MP Ashok Mittal. After being ousted, Raghav fired back at AAP with a reel on the problems he raised during his tenure.

In the video, he highlighted the issues he addressed that matter to a wider audience. Starting from burdening of tax on the middle class, paternity leaves, food adulteration, costly airport food, data privacy leaks, air pollution, GST removal on health insurance plans and many other. He then questioned AAP, "Have I committed a crime? Have I made a mistake? Have I done something wrong? I am asking this question today because the AAP has told the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to stop Raghav Chadha from speaking in the parliament." He shared the video with an evil eye emoji in the caption.
Supportive Parineeti Chopra backs Raghav Chadha
Recently, when Raghav raised the concern on paternity leave at the Parliament, the actress extended her support for him, writing, "My dearest husband, You spoke today not just as an MP but as the dad, I see every single day. We have discussed this so many times. How our baby deserves both parents to be present - to the best of their ability. So when you spoke today, it wasn't just policy. It was built from the way you parent our child the way you show up without being asked, the way you understand that PARENTING IS SHARED, not assigned."
Her caption further read, "Bacche ke paida hone par, keval ek maa ka janm nahi, ek pita ka bhi janm hota hai. There are so many mothers who carry this responsibility alone, often unheard, unseen. Homes where the fathers' and family support are missing. Today, you brought their loneliness into the Parliament - a room where it truly matters. If this helps even a few parents, especially mothers feel more supported, it will be a win for us. Thankyou for being the dad - and the leader you are. I see it everyday, now India will see it too. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's marriage
For the unversed, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in May 2023 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. Same year, in September, the couple married at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. In October 2025, they welcomed their new born Neer.

On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in the 2024 Imtiaz Ali film Amar Singh Chamkila with Diljit Dosanjh. Currently, she has the Netflix show Talaash: A Mother's Search in her pipeline.
