The 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme is being released today. Under this scheme, Rs 2,000 will be sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers across the country.

How much money is being sent under the PM Kisan 22nd installment?
The Prime Minister is releasing a total of Rs 18,640 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.32 crore (93.2 million) farmers across India. Each eligible farmer will receive Rs 2,000 as part of the 22nd installment.
The money is transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), which means it goes straight to the farmer's bank account, with no middlemen involved.
How much money has been given under the PM Kisan Yojana?
Since the PM Kisan scheme started, more than Rs 49,000 crore has already been sent to farmers. This was confirmed by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Among the beneficiaries, over 2.15 crore (21.5 million) women farmers have also received the benefit.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment: How to check your name in the beneficiary list
You don't need to visit any government office to check if your name is in the list. You can easily do it from your mobile phone by following these simple steps:
- Go to the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on "Beneficiary List"
- Select your State, District, and Tehsil from the dropdown menus
- Choose your Block and Village
- Click on "Get Report"
- Check if your name is included in the list
If your name is there, Rs 2,000 will be deposited directly into your bank account
Who will not receive the PM Kisan 22nd Installment?
- You have not completed your e-KYC verification on the PM Kisan portal
- You have not linked a valid Farmer ID on the official website
- More than one member of your family (husband, wife, or children) is registered as a beneficiary
- You or any family member holds a government job
- You or a family member is an income taxpayer
- You already receive a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more from any other government scheme
What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a government scheme launched to support small and marginal farmers in India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. The money is sent directly to the farmer's bank account every four months.
