Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 SE 5G launched: Redmi has expanded its popular Note series lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, a special edition variant of the standard Redmi Note 15 5G. The new smartphone brings a refreshed design along with balanced hardware aimed at the mid-range segment.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G: Price in India and availability
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G starts at Rs 19999 for the base 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 21999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 23,999. Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 2000 bank discount, effectively lowering the starting price further.
The smartphone will go on sale from April 7 via Flipkart and the company's official online store. It will be available in three colour options: Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve (Red), and Frosted White.

As a special edition model, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G focuses on aesthetics. The device features a refined finish and premium styling, particularly in the Crimson Reserve colour, which is expected to be the standout variant. The design remains sleek and modern, aligning with the Redmi Note series identity, while offering a slightly more premium feel compared to the standard model.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G comes with a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz of refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. It gets IP65 + IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The storage can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
In terms of camera, the new Xiaomi phone gets a dual rear camera unit with 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G features a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls. It is backed by a backed by a 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging.
