Sushant Singh Rajput case: Bihar DGP slams Mumbai Police, levels serious allegations
Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh has broken his silence regarding the suicide case of the late Bollywood actor.
Since then, police teams from two states are investigating the case. The Mumbai Police is investigating the case from June 14. But recently, after an FIR was registered by Sushant Singh Rajput's father, the Bihar Police has also started an investigation into the case.
However, there have been allegations that the Bihar Police is not getting the requisite support from the Mumbai Police. This has led to a war of words between senior police officials of the two states.
Now Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey has asked the Mumbai Police such a question, to which the Mumbai Police does not currently have an answer.
Gupteshwar Pandey asked the Mumbai Police on Monday why the angle of money withdrawn from Sushant's bank account was not investigated yet.
"Nearly 50 crore rupees were deposited in Sushant Singh Rajput's bank account in the last 4 years, but surprisingly all the money was withdrawn. 17 crore was deposited in his account in one year. Out of which 15 crore rupees were withdrawn," the Bihar DGP told the media.
"Is this not an important angle that needs to be investigated. We are not going to sit in peace. Why is the Mumbai Police suppressing such clues?" he added.
