Tina Ambani, also known as Tina Munim, left Bollywood after marrying Anil Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group. She had a glorious career in Hindi cinema and starred in several hit movies.
Her niece, Lina Ashar, recently penned a heartfelt note for her maasi, recalling Tina's glorious career and relationships with family.

She wrote, "As a child, I would sit and stare at Tina masi while she did her makeup before film shoots. That perfect face. That movie-star beauty. I remember secretly wishing I could look a little like her."
"And then she stepped into another world entirely as an Ambani bahu, with such grace, and never once with a sense of loss for the life she left behind," she added.
She recalled how Tina Ambani took care of her sister when she had a stroke, witnessing both motherhood and sisterhood. "And when my mother passed, no one cried more than Tina masi. I think losing her felt like losing both a sister and a mother at the same time," she added.
When did Tina Ambani make her debut?
She made her debut in 1978 with Dev Anand's film 'Des Pardes'. The movie also starred Ajit Khan, Pran, Amjad Khan, Shreeram Lagoo, Tom Alter, Bindu, Prem Chopra, A. K. Hangal, Sujit Kumar, Mehmood and Paintal.
She then appeared in hit movies like Karz, Yeh Vaada Raha, Bhagwaan Dada, and Yudh, among others. Tina also worked with Rajesh Khanna in several movies, including Fiffty Fiffty, Souten, Bewafai, Suraag, Insaaf Main Karoonga, Rajput, Aakhir Kyon?, Paapi Pet Ka Sawaal Hai, Alag Alag, and Adhikar.
Her last film was Jigarwala, released in 1991. She left the industry after marrying Anil Ambani in 1991. They have two sons: Jai Anmol and Jai Anushul. As per reports, she dated Rajesh Khanna from 1984 to 1987.
