The complaint was submitted at Goregaon Police Station in Mumbai on July 31, and the matter is currently under investigation. Known for her roles in Apollena - Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan, Rabb Se Hai Dua, Kaleerein and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, Aditi has made a series of serious allegations against her husband and in-laws. The allegations have not been proven in court.

Relationship Turned Sour After Marriage

According to the complaint, Aditi met Abhineet during an online acting class in June 2021. Their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and the couple began living together in Goregaon West in September 2024 before getting married in November 2024.

Aditi claimed that Abhineet's behaviour changed soon after their wedding. She alleged that frequent arguments began over issues such as her clothing, household finances and personal choices. She further claimed that while she was bearing most of the household expenses, Abhineet regularly took money from her without contributing financially.

Allegations of Abuse and Harassment

In her complaint, Aditi also referred to an incident on January 1, 2025, when an argument over coffee allegedly escalated into verbal abuse. She alleged that Abhineet questioned her character, repeatedly accused her of having an extramarital affair and regularly checked her mobile phone. According to the complaint, he later began sleeping in a separate room and attempted to restrict her communication with her parents.

In-Laws Also Named in Complaint

Aditi has also accused her mother-in-law, Urmila Kaushik, and sister-in-law, Kirti Kaushik, of supporting Abhineet during the alleged disputes.

She further alleged that her mother-in-law refused to return her stridhan, despite repeated requests. The complaint states that the belongings include her mangalsutra, gold chains, rings, a diamond ring and gold bangles. Police have reportedly initiated an investigation into the complaint. Aditi has not made any public statement since filing the case.

Earlier Public Dispute

The latest complaint comes months after the couple's marital issues became public. In March 2025, Abhineet and his legal team had accused Aditi of having an affair with her Apollena co-star Samarthya Gupta. They also alleged that she had insisted on keeping the marriage private because of her acting career and claimed her family demanded Rs 25 lakh along with a divorce settlement. His lawyer further alleged that a confrontation between the two families turned physical.

Aditi had denied all those allegations, stating that serious marital problems had started within a month of their wedding. She also clarified that the decision to keep the marriage private was mutual, as she was portraying an 18-year-old character in Apollena at the time. With the fresh police complaint now under investigation, the matter is expected to move forward through the legal process.
