E-commerce giant Meesho announced on January 7, through regulatory filings, that Megha Agarwal, Chief Experience Officer (Business), has resigned from her position.
The filing by Meesho did not mention the reasons for Megha Agarwal's exit. The company stated that it would share further details at the appropriate time, in accordance with industry norms. It also did not clarify if a successor has been appointed.
Who is Megha Agarwal?
Megha Agarwal had been with Meesho for over six years, joining the company in September 2019. During her tenure, she held several leadership roles, including Chief of Staff, Vice President, and General Manager - User Growth, as well as CXO - Growth. In October 2023, she became the Chief Experience Officer (Business). Agarwal holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Power) from IIT Delhi and a Master's in Management from INSEAD. Before joining Meesho, she gained experience with A.T. Kearney Consulting (India) and Nomura Financial Advisory & Securities (India).
Salary and Compensation
In FY25, Agarwal's total compensation was Rs 2.29 crore, which included an annual variable pay of Rs 9.4 lakh for FY24, paid in FY25.
Leadership Exit Amid Meesho's IPO
Her resignation comes as Meesho adjusts to life as a listed company. The company went public in December 2025, with its IPO fully subscribed on the first day at Rs 111 per share, giving Meesho a valuation of USD 5.6 billion.
