The diligent student that Nandini Agrawal had always been, she cleared her class 10 board exams when she was 13 and her class 12th board exams at 15. Finding inspiration in a Guinness World Record holder who visited her school, Nandini too wanted to carve a niche' for herself and set her sight on becoming the youngest CA.

How her brother helped her pursue her dreams

It is pertinent to mention that her elder brother Sachin played a crucial role in helping her achieve her dream. As he was also preparing for the CA exams, he understood the challenges she faced and provided invaluable guidance. However, her journey wasn't bereft of challenges, particularly during her apprenticeship. Since she was just 16 years old, many firms were reluctant to accept her as an apprentice. However, Nandini remained steadfast in her mission and continued to pursue her goal.

In 2021, at the age of 19, Nandini Agrawal secured All India Rank 1 in the CA final exam with a score of 614 out of 800 (76.75%). She was precisely 19 years and 330 days old when her result was announced, earning her the title of the world's youngest female chartered accountant by the Guinness World Records. While Nandini aced the exam with the first position, her brother achieved the 18th spot in the same exam.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Nandini has worked across PwC, BCG, and Private Equity at GIC (Sovereign Wealth Fund of Singapore). Her work currently spans audits, consulting and private equity. She is currently focusing on sharing practical insights around skills, career decision-making, finance and the role of AI in shaping modern careers.
