The Delhi government has revised its commercial LPG distribution policy, making it mandatory for industrial consumers in areas where a piped natural gas (PNG) network is available to apply for a PNG connection.

The order was issued by the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs. The new rule amends Clause 3.4 of the policy, stating that deliveries to commercial LPG consumers will only be allowed if they have applied for a PNG connection with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL).
