A photograph circulating on social media purportedly shows a seriously injured Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, being pulled out from the rubble, apparently caused by a missile strike.
Several posts claim he was killed amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

A reverse image search of the viral photograph did not show the image in any credible news reports or official Israeli government accounts.
No reliable media outlets reported that Benjamin Netanyahu was killed or injured in the recent escalation involving Iran and Israel.
The image was analysed using multiple AI detection tools:
- Sightengine flagged the image as likely AI-generated with a detection score of about 67%.
- WasItAI concluded that parts of the photograph were likely created using AI
