Violence in Bangladesh: Storyteller Aniruddhacharya said that those who buy Bangladeshi players are not able to see that the Indians who have given you name and fame are hurt by this

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), acquired Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman in the IPL 2026 auction. Following the controversy, the BCCI ordered KKR to remove the Bangladeshi player. On Sunday (January 4, 2026), storyteller Aniruddhacharya expressed his opposition to this matter. He also strongly criticized the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. Furthermore, storyteller Aniruddhacharya questioned Bollywood, saying that people there consider themselves gods.

Storyteller Aniruddhacharya answered many questions.

When narrator Aniruddhacharya was asked about the right or wrong of KKR's decision to drop Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman from the team following BCCI's directive, he said, "We believe that anyone who plays with you, eats with you, is a friend. Who is our friend? How can those who burn our Hindus, who kill our Sanatanis, be friends? Why should we play cricket with those who hate our Hindus and Sanatanis so much? Those who buy Bangladeshi players should be questioned. You are buying players for Rs 9 crore because you have the money, but can't you see that the Indians who brought you name and fame are hurt by the fact that you are giving crores of rupees to those who are brutally killing Hindus?"

He said, "By earning money from India, you are sending it to people who have a deep hatred for Hindus. Doesn't this prove that you (Shah Rukh Khan) also hate Hindus? If you loved Hindus, you would have thought about this. How can we play cricket with people who are harming Hindus? Some may argue that sports should not be involved in such matters, but how can we ignore them? What does religion teach us? We should follow religion."

Question:Do you think Shah Rukh Khan's team was unaware that buying the player could spark outrage in India?

Answer: People in Bollywood consider themselves gods. They believe that no matter what they do, no one can harm them because Bollywood is so powerful. They have no shortage of money, so they are filled with pride that no one can touch them. They openly promote gutkha and alcohol. They teach society immorality. They promote cigarettes, gutkha, and gambling. Has anyone really been able to stop them? Who has harmed them? Bollywood means power. They are powerful people in themselves. What can ordinary people like you and me do? Bollywood means power. These people are powerful in themselves. What can ordinary people like us do? This decision was taken out of this pride, but when the public raised their voice against it, Shahrukh Khan had to reverse his decision.

He said, "They make money by selling their films to the Indian public and then distribute that money elsewhere. It is the Indian public that makes them superstars, while their hearts beat for Bangladeshis. Isn't this a betrayal of us? This is deceit. You have tampered with the faith of Hindus and broken their trust. This is called betrayal."

Question: Some individuals and political groups claim that the Muslim community in India faces discrimination. What are your views on this issue?

Answer: We oppose the ideology that exists within some Muslims that promotes hatred toward Hindus. Why is there hatred toward Hindus? Hindus do not hate Muslims. We do not oppose you, nor do we say that you are wrong, but we oppose the atrocities, the acts in which Hindus are being murdered, their throats are being slit, and people are being burned alive. Ask Muslims if they support this genocide?

Question:Humayun Kabir, founder of the Janata Unnayan Party (JUP), who was previously with the TMC, has announced that he will rebuild the Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, West Bengal. What are your thoughts on this?

Answer: I have also heard from Muslims that the Babri Masjid did not exist before Babur. Muslims should consider for themselves when the Babri Masjid came into existence. Those who invaded India perpetrated atrocities on the daughters and sisters of this land. How many Mughal rulers insulted Indian women? You eat this country's food and drink its water, so should buildings be named after foreign invaders that offend the faith of Sanatan followers?

He said, "Mosques can certainly be built, but why only after destroying temples? We never demolished a mosque for a temple. First they demolished our temple and built a mosque, then we had to demolish the mosque and rebuild the temple. Why can't we live together in peace and harmony? What is the need to fight? If fighting is the only option, then fight directly and set a date for war. The common people will have to pay the price. I don't think temple-mosque politics is right."

Question: Recently, several incidents have surfaced in which people allegedly associated with the Bhim Army have been seen burning the Manusmriti. What is your opinion about this?

Answer: Those who burned the Manusmriti are utterly ignorant and misguided. What can be said about ignorant people? Who are the Vedas, Puranas, Shastras, religious texts, and the Constitution for? Only those who know how to read can read the law. What will those who don't read read? Only those who know how to read can study the Gita and the Ramayana. If you don't even know how to read the Manusmriti, how will you understand its meaning? And if you haven't read it at all, why are you burning it?

He said, "I saw a video of a Dalit brother, he too was shouting slogans like 'Jai Bhim, Jai Bhim,' but he said something very meaningful. He said, 'Look, I've studied the Manusmriti a little, and I didn't find anything in it that warrants burning it. Dalits have been misled by some people, which is why all this started. The ones misleading our Dalit community are none other than some Muslims. Some Muslims tell our Dalit brothers that they stand with them. If Muslims are such great well-wishers of Dalits, why did Pakistan's first Law Minister (Jogendra Nath Mandal) have to return to India after three or four years? He was the Law Minister, yet the Muslims there removed him from his post. Dipu Chandra Das, who was brutally murdered in Bangladesh, was a Dalit youth. Why was he killed by a Muslim mob? People should think about this."
