The incident occurred on January 26th at around 6:54 a.m. in the Teachers Colony area of ​​HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The woman was out for a morning walk just outside her home. Suddenly, she was attacked by her neighbor, Amresh Reddy's pet dog. Unprovoked, the dog began biting her on the neck, face, arms, and legs.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she is still undergoing treatment. Doctors are monitoring her condition. A passerby tried to rescue the woman but was bitten by the dog as well. Both were hospitalized.
