The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched its post-result verification and re-evaluation portal for Class 12 on Tuesday, operating smoothly despite initial technical glitches.
Sources confirmed that while a few technical issues were reported, these were being addressed promptly. “A large number of students are successfully using the portal without any difficulty,” they said.
The portal’s activation follows previous delays caused by technical difficulties and cybersecurity concerns. CBSE Headquarters announced on X that the portal was operational and advised students to carefully follow the application procedure. “Dearest Students, The verification and re-evaluation portal is now LIVE! Please watch the video carefully for step-by-step instructions on how to apply for Verification of Marks and re-evaluation,” the announcement stated.
The portal will remain open until midnight on June 6, 2026. Fees have been set at Rs 100 per answer book for verification issues related to scanned copies and Rs 25 per question for re-evaluation. Fee payments are accepted exclusively through online methods including UPI, credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Originally scheduled to open on June 1, the portal’s launch was delayed due to technical complications, raising concerns among students and parents after earlier reports of glitches accessing answer sheets.
In response to cybersecurity worries related to the OnMark portal, operated by CBSE’s service provider, the board has engaged a team of cybersecurity experts from government agencies and the Indian Institutes of Technology to enhance platform security. This comes amid ongoing scrutiny following reports of technical failures in the post-result portal and discrepancies in evaluated answer sheets.
