Bhansali Productions has confirmed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-anticipated film 'Love and War' will be released globally on January 21, 2027. The project unites Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt for the first time.
Described as Bhansali's most ambitious romantic drama to date, the film is produced on a grand scale. The announcement was made via Bhansali Productions' official Instagram account, which stated, "SanjayLeelaBhansali's #LOVEandWAR starring #RanbirKapoor, @aliaabhatt & @vickykaushal09. In cinemas on 21st January 2027. @prerna_singh6 @saregama_official @netflix_in."
'Love and War' will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It marks the second collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali since the actor's 2007 debut in 'Saawariya'. Alia Bhatt previously worked with Bhansali in the 2022 drama 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. This film is Vicky Kaushal's first project with Bhansali.
The film was officially announced in January 2024, with the original message on Instagram reading: "We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga 'Love & War.' See you at the movies."
