Mo Salah will disclose his new club 'in a few days,' according to Muhammad Murad, the media coordinator for the Egypt national football team, as the forward prepares to leave Liverpool after nine years at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool, originally due to run until 2027, will be mutually terminated.
While speculation about a move to the Saudi Pro League continues, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has declined to reveal his next destination, stating that “no one knows” where the player will join. Murad told Four Four Two, as quoted by Goal.com, that Salah has received offers from major clubs in Italy, France, and other countries, adding, “Whichever team Salah picks, we will support him – he [also has offers from Saudi… I think in a few days he will announce his next destination.”
Salah sustained a hamstring tear during Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace on April 25, which may curtail his remaining appearances for the club. Egypt team director Ibrahim Hassan estimated a four-week recovery period, potentially ruling Salah out of Liverpool’s final four matches. The club has not confirmed the injury details.
Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in the summer of 2017, wearing the number 11 shirt, Salah has become one of the club’s all-time greats. He has contributed to Liverpool securing two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, two League Cups, and an FA Community Shield.
