President Droupadi Murmu hosted an 'At Home' reception on Thursday at the Presidential Retreat in Mashobra, Shimla, during her summer sojourn to Himachal Pradesh.
Governor Kavindra Gupta, Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, Minister of Public Works Vikramaditya Singh, and senior state government officials were among the attendees.
President Murmu’s visit to Himachal Pradesh began on April 27 and will continue until May 1. Earlier in the week, a State Banquet was held in her honour at Himachal Pradesh Lok Bhavan in Shimla.
She arrived in Shimla on Monday and was warmly welcomed at the Kalyani Helipad in Chharabra by the State Governor and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania also greeted President Murmu, presenting her with a bouquet and conveying wishes for a pleasant and comfortable stay during her visit.
