Actor Rajshri Deshpande has shared an emotional message reflecting on her journey of surviving breast cancer, using her scars as a symbol of resilience.

Posting on Instagram, she wrote, “My scars tell the story of my survival. Every single one is a reminder that I fought, I survived and I conquered.”

In her message, Deshpande encouraged women by stating, “Breast cancer left its mark, but it could never touch my spirit. To every woman dimming her light please rise. You are so beautiful and your scars are not blemishes they are your crown of courage.”

The actor, who continues to promote her films, spoke about embracing love and courage as she moves forward with life. She received support from many, including Dia Mirza, who commented, “You GO Girl.”

Rajshri Deshpande had previously revealed that she was diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer and underwent surgery. She has frequently updated her followers on her health journey. In March this year, she posted about the emotional impact of her diagnosis, describing the moment she first received the news and how it left her shaken.

She recounted, “When I first learned about my breast cancer, I still remember breaking down all alone outside the histopathology report center in the hospital. No, I couldn’t stay strong. I had no strength. Even today, when people ask me, ‘How did this happen to you? You’re so fit,’ honestly, I don’t have an answer.”

Rajshri Deshpande began her Bollywood career with a minor role in ‘Talaash’ in 2012. She later appeared in TV shows such as ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ and ’24: India,’ returned to films with ‘Kick,’ and earned acclaim for her work in ‘Manto’ and ‘Sacred Games’.

Her next project is the Marathi film ‘Baapya,’ scheduled for release on May 15.
