Actors Ambrish Verma, Paramvir Singh Cheema, and Vijayant Kohli have shared insights into 'Sapne Vs Everyone Season 2', emphasising a more complex narrative arc for their characters.
Ambrish Verma, who also writes and directs the series, discussed the challenges of the second season: “You write in season 1 with a lot of fear, and sometimes the output is good. But the challenge lies with being your own self-critique. You have to make sure that you don’t drop the levels. Writing is best, and of course, my love is always acting,” he said.
Cheema, reprising his role as Prashant, reflected on his connection with the character: “I learned a lot from this character in the first season. When I found out what my journey was going to be, I was very excited. I enjoyed working with the actors like Nidhi Shah and Khushalii Kumar. This time, the audience will enjoy Prashant on a different level,” he stated.
Vijayant Kohli, returning as the corrupt Mama, added: “I am glad. I knew that season 2 would come somewhere. Because at one point, I felt that I got closure to the story. Mama has been slapped, Prashant has become a hero, and Jimmy is satisfied with his life. But when season 2 came, there was pressure on me. This time, Mama is more aggressive. Mama is going to be more dangerous.”
Following the success of the first season released on YouTube in 2023, the sequel has been one of the most anticipated series from TVF. Season one concluded with Ambrish Verma’s character defeating Vijayant Kohli’s Mama in the real estate business, while Paramvir’s character pursued his dream of becoming an actor after overcoming obstacles in the property sector.
The recently released trailer revisits key scenes from season one before introducing new turmoil. It shows Paramvir Cheema’s character departing for Mumbai to chase his acting career. Meanwhile, Ambrish Verma’s character establishes a real estate firm, facing opposition from Vijayant Kohli’s character who threatens to kill him after gaining political influence.
The narrative develops around themes of rejection, revenge, and risky decisions. The trailer ends with Paramvir’s character struggling to secure a film role while Ambrish confronts life-threatening attacks from goons. The trailer also includes a cameo teaser of Naveen Kasturia.
